This Privacy Policy describes how Quaxam Intelligent Systems ("Quaxam", "we") collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data processed through this website and our contact channels, in accordance with Colombian Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 and other applicable personal data protection regulations in Colombia. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
01Data controller
Quaxam Intelligent Systems is the controller of the personal data collected through this site. We operate from Colombia and serve clients across Latin America and worldwide. For any matter related to your personal data you can write to contacto@quaxam.com.
02Scope
This policy applies to the personal data we process when you visit our website, fill in our forms, communicate with us or use our services. It does not apply to third-party sites or services that may be linked from here.
03Data we collect
We process the following categories of data:
- Data you provide: name, email address, company, role, phone number and the content of the messages you send us through forms or email.
- Data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and browsing data, through cookies and similar technologies.
- Preferences: settings such as the theme (light/dark), stored locally in your browser.
We do not deliberately collect sensitive data. Please do not include sensitive information in your contact messages.
04Purposes of processing
We use your data to:
- Respond to your requests, quotes and questions.
- Provide, manage and improve our services and proposals.
- Operate, maintain and protect the website.
- Send you communications related to your request and, when you authorize it, commercial information or news.
- Comply with legal, contractual and regulatory obligations.

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and the applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely.

We apply reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, but security is part of our architecture by design.
11Your rights as data subject
As the data subject you have the right to:
- Know, update and rectify your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization granted.
- Be informed about how we use your data.
- Revoke the authorization and/or request deletion where legally applicable.
- Access your personal data free of charge.
- File complaints with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

12Minors
Our site and services are aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without the authorization of their legal representatives.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. We will publish the current version on this page, indicating its update date.
