02Scope

This policy applies to the personal data we process when you visit our website, fill in our forms, communicate with us or use our services. It does not apply to third-party sites or services that may be linked from here.

03Data we collect

We process the following categories of data:

• Data you provide: name, email address, company, role, phone number and the content of the messages you send us through forms or email.
• Technical data: when you submit the contact form we record your IP address and browser type for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Our infrastructure provider processes technical connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
• Preferences: settings such as the theme (light/dark), the language and the order of the products you explore in the portfolio, stored locally in your browser.

We do not deliberately collect sensitive data. Please do not include sensitive information in your contact messages.

04Purposes of processing

We use your data to:

• Respond to your requests, quotes and questions.
• Provide, manage and improve our services and proposals.
• Operate, maintain and protect the website.
• Send you communications related to your request and, when you authorize it, commercial information or news.
• Comply with legal, contractual and regulatory obligations.

05Authorization and legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your prior, express and informed authorization; the performance of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship; our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site; and compliance with legal obligations. You may revoke your authorization at any time, without retroactive effect.

06Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (theme and language), the order of the products you explore in the portfolio, and the sector and capability you looked at most, so we can show related content first, tailor the invitation to talk and pre-select those two options in the contact form. That information stays on your device, is forgotten after 90 days and is not sent to us: the form only transmits what you can see and change in its fields. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may use strictly necessary technical cookies to keep the site secure. You can clear local storage or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.

07How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with:

• Providers and processors that render services to us (infrastructure and hosting, email and communications), under confidentiality and security obligations.
• Competent authorities when a valid legal requirement exists.
• Third parties in the context of a corporate reorganization, preserving the same protection guarantees.

08International transfers

Some of our providers may be located outside Colombia. In those cases we take reasonable measures so that the processing maintains adequate levels of protection in accordance with applicable regulations.

09Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and the applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely.

10Information security

We apply reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, but security is part of our architecture by design.

11Your rights as data subject

As the data subject you have the right to:

• Know, update and rectify your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization granted.
• Be informed about how we use your data.
• Revoke the authorization and/or request deletion where legally applicable.
• Access your personal data free of charge.
• File complaints with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

To exercise these rights, write to us at contacto@quaxam.com. We will handle your request within the legal deadlines.

12Minors

Our site and services are aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without the authorization of their legal representatives.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. We will publish the current version on this page, indicating its update date.
